Patient, personal instruction for beginners and returning players — taught around a small table, never a crowded room. Bring a friend or come solo; either way, you'll leave knowing how to play.
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Brandy, and I believe some of life’s sweetest moments happen around a table.
A little over a year ago, I signed up for my very first Mahjong class. At the time, I wasn’t just looking for a new hobby—I was looking for connection. Like so many women, life had become busy with work and responsibilities, and I wanted a place to slow down, meet new friends, and enjoy genuine fellowship.
I never imagined that one class would spark such a passion.
Mahjong quickly became much more than a game. It became an opportunity to gather, laugh, encourage one another, and build lasting friendships. Whether you’re celebrating a win, learning from a loss, or simply enjoying good conversation, there’s something special about the community that forms around a Mahjong table.
As the owner of Classy Touch Boutique in Clanton, Alabama, I’ve spent the past 14 years creating spaces where women feel welcomed and valued. Teaching Mahjong has become a natural extension of that passion.
My classes are designed to be relaxed, encouraging, and fun. Whether you come with a group of friends or walk in knowing no one, my goal is for you to leave with new confidence, new friendships, and a love for the game.
So pull up a chair, shuffle the tiles, and let’s create memories—one tile at a time.
I can’t wait to meet you.
XOXO, BrandyClear, patient instruction built for real beginners — no experience or equipment required.

Not at all. Beginner Basics is built for players who have never touched a tile, and most students who book a Small Group Table or Private Lesson are also starting from scratch.
Just yourself! Tiles, racks, and score cards are all provided. If you already own a set and would like to practice on it, feel free to bring it along.
Sessions are currently held in Clanton, AL 35045. Exact location details are shared once your session is confirmed. Other locations are available on request — just ask.
Small Group Tables are capped at four players, whether you bring your own group or join an open table with other students.
